Our portfolio ranges from castings and forgings to welded constructions. As a full-service provider, GVA Krefeld GmbH guarantees project management from a single source, from conception to handover of the ready-to-install part. Our worldwide network of permanent contractual partners with certification according to DIN ISO 9001, among others, ensures a high level of quality. To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a committed sales representative (m/f/d) in a prominent position (Sales & Business Development) at the earliest possible date.

Job tasks and challenges

  • Active customer acquisition and support in internal and external sales, nationally and internationally
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Conducting negotiations at national and international level
  • Preparing and following up on offers
  • Negotiating prices and contract terms
  • Processing tenders
  • Maintaining contact with all relevant information providers and decision-makers
  • Working closely with the technical, shipping, and back office departments
  • Conducting market and competition analyses
  • Visiting trade fairs

What we expect from you

  • Completed technical training/degree
  • Several years of experience in the sale of technical products in the metallurgical industry/mechanical engineering is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and confident manner
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Business fluent English, both written and spoken
  • Class 3 driver's license
  • Confident in dealing with cooperation partners and customers
